Picture 30 and 31 are Wedding pictures of Oliver and Roda Breinholt. They were married April 8, 1914 in the Salt Lake Temple. Originally they wanted to be married on Oliver’s mother’s birthday April 7, but because of General Conference they were married on April 8th. They made the trip from Venice, Sevier County, Utah to get married. Roda’s parents came with them to get married. Oliver’s folks were living but his father JCL Breinholt was 73 and died that fall. During this period of time it took all day to get married. There was only one session which lasted all day. They were there along with 60 others marriage. Oliver and Roda couldn’t aford a diamond so they bought a gold band.
